Labor day has come and gone

Labor day weekend has come and gone. It's a little bittersweet. We had a lovely time. Jeff's brother and his family came and we had all sorts of fun together. We went to Swiss days and ate snowcones, we took the children to Classic fun center and they played laser tag and jumped from one bounce house to the next til they were exhaustified. Jeff and Gene went to the BYU game. Ericka and I got a babysitter and went shopping. Cousins played and fought and played some more. We went to Gardner Village, shopped for Halloween decor all over the valley, and ate lunch at Cafe Rio. Then we came home and let the children ride the jeep and their scooters and bikes around the block until it was dark. Then we filled them with pizza and milkshakes. They loved being together. They punched and pushed and yelled and scratched, but they loved being together. And it was such a nice weekend, full of all my favorite things. And now it is over. And labor day has come and gone once again. And summer has gone with it. And it was all lovely.
