Real Soccer game

We went to the Real game with Paige's cute soccer team last week. It was Lucy's first big outing and she was a champ. The rest of the kids....not so much. But we can pretend that they were awesome. That they thought it was so cool to be in the parade of kings and walk on the field before the game. That it was even cooler for Paige's team to play on the field at half time. That it was awesome to be there with our friends and watch a great soccer game. That's much better than remembering the tantrums they threw and the snow cones they didn't get and the general whiny-ness that ensued. I always forget that having a baby throws everyone for a loop. That it's not the baby that makes life crazy, but the rest of us trying to adjust to that little bundle. We'll get there...we just need to find our new normal. And in the mean time we'll just play a little game of pretend to get us through ;)
