Block Party

Our first annual block party. My neighbor Somer did most of the planning and I think it was a huge success. We started off with a bike parade for the kids. Then all of the men did a tricycle race. So funny! There were games for the kids, lots of water balloons, fishing for prizes, and good food. We all ate in Somer's backyard and listened to a live band while the kids jumped on the trampoline. We ended the night watching E.T. in another neighbors backyard, filling up on popcorn and snowcones. So fun! Jeffrey did think that E.T. was "really strange," and watching it 25 years later I would have to agree. (25 years. Can I really be that old? Wow.)
